His memorandum highlighted the extensive damage to crops such as soybeans, urad, and cotton, stressing the need for prompt and unconditional assistance.

Kalge pointed out that farmers in the Marathwada region are facing severe financial distress due to mounting debts and crop losses, and emphasized that a loan waiver would provide much-needed relief.
