Yogi Adityanath Retorts to Akhilesh Yadav's 2027 Bulldozer Remark

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responded sharply to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's warning about directing bulldozers to Adityanath's home district of Gorakhpur if elected in 2027. Adityanath emphasized the necessity of a 'bulldozer-like capability' to operate such machinery and criticized Yadav's past governance.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday sharply responded to Akhilesh Yadav's warning that he will redirect all ''bulldozers'' to Gorakhpur in 2027, noting that not everyone has the heart to handle such machinery. Adityanath made the statement in reply to the Samajwadi Party chief's remark on Tuesday about bulldozers symbolizing his style of governance.

'As soon as the Samajwadi government is formed in 2027, the bulldozers of the entire state will head towards Gorakhpur,' Yadav had said.

Adityanath stated that only those with a 'bulldozer-like capability' can manage such equipment. 'Today these people have come back in a new form to mislead the public. Not everyone's hands can fit on a bulldozer. It requires both 'dil and dimaag'. Only someone who has a bulldozer-like capability and determination can operate it. Those who grovel before the rioters will not be able to stand in front of a bulldozer,' he said at an appointment letter distribution event.

The CM also mocked Yadav's nickname, saying, 'Now 'Tipu' is also trying to become a 'Sultan'.' He described Yadav's ambition to return to power as a daydream and accused him and his uncle Shivpal Yadav of past extortion activities during their rule. 'There used to be a competition between 'chacha-bhatija' in extorting money. Areas between them were divided. Some man-eating wolves are creating havoc in different districts, similar to the situation before 2017,' Adityanath remarked.
