Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to commence a two-day visit to Singapore on Wednesday, where he will engage in high-profile meetings with Singaporean counterparts, including President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and former Prime Ministers Lee Hsien Loong and Goh Chok Tong.

During his visit, Modi will also participate in a business roundtable featuring local business leaders, as well as hold discussions with key players in the semiconductor industry.

Accompanying him will be top Indian government officials, including the Foreign Minister and the National Security Advisor. This marks Modi's fifth visit to Singapore and his first since 2018.
