Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur Honored for His Contributions

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Tuesday credited Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur with leaving a memorable mark on BJP workers through his distinctive working style.

Sharma highlighted Mathur's efforts to uplift every BJP worker and fortify their position in politics.

'Mathur has reached new heights through his lifelong dedication to culture and ideology,' Sharma stated during a program where Mathur was honored in Jaipur.

BJP state president Madan Rathore noted Mathur's humble beginnings and disciplined approach, comparing him to a determined 'soldier'.

Rathore emphasized that Mathur has collaborated with senior leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, and is now a key contributor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for the nation.

Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje lauded Mathur, contrasting his grounded demeanor with others who become self-important with minor achievements.

'Om Mathur's humility, regardless of his rise, earns him wide admiration,' Raje remarked, expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for appointing Mathur as governor.

Mathur shared his life experiences and insights on his governorship in Sikkim during the event held at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur.

Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Dr Premchand Bairwa, along with senior BJP leaders, attended the event.
