Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called on BJP workers to see the party's membership drive as 'Ramkaaj' (Lord Ram's work), emphasizing its importance in connecting with citizens benefiting from various public welfare schemes.

The drive kicked off with Adityanath and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak taking the party's membership during a program. State BJP president Bhupendra Chaudhary presented membership certificates to the leaders.

The campaign, which occurs every six years, seeks to renew existing memberships and enroll new members. Notably, Prime Minister Modi was the first to join the campaign, marking its official launch. Adityanath appealed to party workers to reach out to citizens benefiting from schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Kisan Samman Nidhi to expand the party's base.
