Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jharkhand on September 15, according to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Modi will engage in both governmental and political activities during his stay in Jamshedpur. Sarma, who is also the BJP's election co-incharge for Jharkhand, made the announcement following the first meeting of the party's election committee.
During the meeting, three primary agendas were discussed, including the extension of the candidate selection process. Sarma also outlined a roadmap for the proposed Pariwartan Sankalp Yatra, indicating that further details will be finalized in the coming days. Additionally, discussions on seat-sharing with the AJSU Party and Janata Dal (United) are underway, while talks with the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will happen at the central level. Sarma also touched on efforts to attract new members from other parties and the commencement of a caste census among Muslims in Assam.
