Former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse on Monday voiced his frustration over being kept in limbo for a formal acceptance into the BJP.
Though BJP president J P Nadda welcomed him months ago, a formal announcement was stalled due to opposition from unnamed sources, speculated to be Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. Khadse, speaking at Jalgaon, indicated he would make a final decision soon.
Currently, he remains a member of the Sharad Pawar-led NCP, serving as a legislator, with Pawar yet to accept his resignation. Khadse, who once accused Fadnavis of sabotaging his career, continues to hold significant influence in North Maharashtra.
