The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on the verge of losing all upcoming state elections, starting with Haryana. Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia stated on Saturday that the BJP is 'scared' after the Lok Sabha poll results, where they were largely rejected by the electorate.

Earlier in the day, the Election Commission postponed the Haryana assembly poll date from October 1 to October 5 to accommodate the Bishnoi community's festival, honoring their centuries-old traditions. The move aims to respect both voter rights and cultural practices.

Sisodia asserted that, despite changes in poll dates, the BJP would face defeat in Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Delhi. He accused the BJP of resorting to dictatorship and avoiding elections out of fear of losing. AAP's Haryana unit president Sushil Gupta echoed this sentiment, expressing confidence in AAP's preparedness and welcoming the new poll dates.

Gupta revealed plans for 40 rallies, road shows, and town hall meetings from September 1 to September 15, featuring prominent AAP leaders like Delhi CM's wife Sunita Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Sanjay Singh. He also hinted at Arvind Kejriwal's potential release from jail, suggesting an energized campaign by AAP aimed at a decisive victory in Haryana.
