Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the BJP election office in Rohtak on Monday, expressing confidence that the party would secure a third consecutive term in the state. 'The people of Haryana are enthusiastic about the BJP government,' Saini said, drawing parallels to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third-term victory.
Addressing a press conference, Saini criticized the Congress party for aligning with the National Conference in their bid for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. 'I want to ask Congress leaders if they support the National Conference's anti-national agenda, including the reintroduction of Articles 370 and 35A,' Saini questioned. He also revealed that the BJP would prepare a Sankalp document outlining their plans for the next five years.
Earlier, the BJP convened a two-day brainstorming session in Gurugram to finalize candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. The meeting, chaired by BJP Haryana State President Mohan Lal Badauli, included key leaders such as Dharmendra Pradhan and Saini himself. The list of 300 potential candidates, discussed intensely over two days, will now be reviewed by the Central Election Committee before final approval.
