BJP Assures Article 370 Restoration Impossible Amid J&K Polls

BJP Mahila Morcha president Vanathi Srinivasan criticized opposition parties NC and PDP for misleading the public with promises of restoring Article 370 in their election manifestos. She emphasized that BJP's focus is on peace and development for Jammu and Kashmir's younger generation. BJP Mahila Morcha president Vanathi Srinivasan on Sunday asserted that it is impossible for opposition parties NC and PDP to restore Article 370, accusing them of misleading people with false promises in their election manifestos. Srinivasan made her remarks during a press conference at BJP headquarters, ahead of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls.

Highlighting BJP's commitment to peace and development, Srinivasan stated that the younger generation in Jammu and Kashmir seeks a peaceful life and growth, which can only be achieved by her party. She criticized separatist political parties for causing long-standing suffering in the region.

Srinivasan accused the NC and PDP of engaging in politics for their family's benefit, asserting that the BJP is the only solution for Jammu and Kashmir's progress. She also praised the Mahila Morcha's proactive role in supporting government initiatives, especially those empowering women in the region.
