Sisodia's Smiling Return: A Padyatra Against BJP Conspiracy

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, recently released from Tihar jail, embarked on a 'padyatra' to expose BJP's alleged conspiracy against Arvind Kejriwal. Sisodia claims Kejriwal's imprisonment is political, not based on corruption. He plans to visit all 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi during his campaign.

The BJP anticipated I would exit Tihar jail in tears, but I emerged with a smile, said Manish Sisodia, former deputy chief minister of Delhi, during a footmarch in Burari on Saturday.

He further asserted that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is serving time in jail as a form of 'penance' for the people of Delhi and the whole nation. Recently out on bail, Sisodia credited his release to the Constitution and expressed hope for Kejriwal's imminent release.

'Kejriwal's imprisonment isn't rooted in corruption but is the result of BJP's conspiracy,' Sisodia declared. Kejriwal, arrested by the ED in connection with an excise policy case on March 21, is currently in Tihar jail.

Recalling his 17 months in Tihar, Sisodia mentioned enduring extreme heat conditions with just a fan, motivated by his commitment to improving education in Delhi.

During his walk through Burari, AAP supporters chanted in support, and Sisodia remarked, 'BJP thought I would come out crying, but I walked out smiling. Now, they can't even look me in the eyes.' The Supreme Court recently granted him bail in excise policy cases.

Starting his 'padyatra' on August 16 in Greater Kailash, Sisodia plans to cover all 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi.
