Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Saturday criticized the Congress for forming an alliance with the National Conference (NC), accusing the party of harboring views that question Kashmir's integral status within India.

The leader, who previously served as the state BJP president, challenged the Congress during a press briefing at the party office to disclose whether it supported NC's controversial positions on Article 370 and a separate Kashmiri flag.

Choudhary highlighted that while the Narendra Modi government is working towards a unified Bharat as envisioned by Chanakya, the NC's support for trade ties with Pakistan conflicts with this vision. He also accused the NC of being against reservations for SCs and STs in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls, urging the Congress to explain its reconciliation with these views amid ongoing cross-border terrorism.
