Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in the United States on Thursday for a four-day visit intended to bolster the comprehensive global strategic partnership between India and the US.
In Washington, Singh will engage in discussions with Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, addressing key issues such as India's plan to procure 31 MQ-9B Predator drones and the proposed joint manufacturing of Stryker infantry combat vehicles and GE F414 engines in India.
Highlighting the growing momentum in India-US relations, Singh will also preside over a high-level roundtable meeting with the US defence industry to explore ongoing and future defence collaborations, and he will connect with the Indian community during his stay.
