Congress Stages Protest Demanding SEBI Chief's Resignation

Congress leaders and workers from Delhi took to the streets on Thursday to demand the resignation of SEBI chief Madhabi Buch and the establishment of a joint parliamentary committee to investigate the Adani affair.

Notable figures such as Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav, senior leader Sachin Pilot, Kanhaiya Kumar, and Udit Raj attended the demonstration at Jantar Mantar, emphasizing the need for an impartial probe.

The protest comes after Hindenburg Research accused Buch and her husband of having financial interests in offshore funds linked to the alleged Adani money siphoning scandal. Both Buch and her husband vehemently denied these claims, labeling them baseless, while the Adani Group called Hindenburg's charges malicious and manipulative.
