In a statement on social media platform X, Vijay announced he would introduce the flag song and hoist the flag at the party office in Panaiyur. This move marks a significant milestone for his party.
Vijay, who announced the launch of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam in February, plans to contest the 2026 assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. Notably, his party remained neutral in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where the DMK-led coalition triumphed.
