Early Saturday, an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon claimed the lives of at least 10 Syrian nationals, as reported by Lebanon's Health Ministry.

The targeted area in Wadi al-Kfour, Nabatieh province, is witnessing one of its deadliest episodes since the hostilities began on October 8 between Hezbollah and the Israeli military. A woman and her two children were among the fatalities. Five others were wounded, with two in critical condition.

Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that the strike aimed at a Hezbollah weapons depot. However, locals like Mohammad Shoaib, a nearby slaughterhouse owner, claim the targeted site was an industrial zone. Hezbollah retaliated by launching rockets at northern Israel. Efforts for a ceasefire continue as the region remains unstable.
