Congress Alleges BJP's Recruitment Bias: Calls for Caste Census

In a scathing attack on Saturday, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge accused the BJP of intentionally excluding SC, ST, and OBC categories from job reservations.

Kharge emphasized the critical need to fully implement economic, social, and political justice provisions enshrined in the Constitution, and reiterated Congress's demand for a caste census.

Highlighting a spate of issues, Kharge mentioned a 'reservation scam' in the recruitment of 69,000 assistant teachers in Uttar Pradesh, adding that the BJP was perpetrating a well-planned conspiracy to deny reservations.
