Palang Pracharat Supports Pheu Thai's PM Candidates

The Palang Pracharat party will support Pheu Thai's prime minister candidates ahead of a parliamentary vote. The party has 40 seats in the alliance and was the political vehicle of Thailand's last military government. Pheu Thai has not yet named which of its two candidates will be nominated.

The Palang Pracharat party has announced its support for Pheu Thai's candidates for the upcoming prime ministerial vote in parliament, according to senior party member Santi Promphat on Thursday.

Palang Pracharat, historically tied to Thailand's last military government, holds 40 seats, making it the third-largest party in the coalition alliance.

As of now, Pheu Thai has not disclosed which of its two eligible candidates will be put forth for the prime minister position.
