Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah harshly criticized the opposition BJP-JD(S) on Friday for their 'Mysuru Chalo' march over an alleged land scam. He argued that none of their leaders have the moral right to question him, urging people to drive out the 'Manuvadis'.

A day before the Mysuru Chalo campaign concluded, Siddaramaiah led a counter offensive in his hometown, refuting allegations that his wife Parvathi had benefited from a scam in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). The campaign demands Siddaramaiah's resignation for allegedly acquiring alternative plots in a high-end area.

At the 'Janandolana' convention, he likened the current struggle to the Quit India movement, condemning communal and casteist elements. He accused past and current opposition leaders, including H D Deve Gowda and B S Yediyurappa, of scams and failed promises, asserting they lack the moral high ground to demand his resignation.
