Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar launched his party's 'Jan Sanman Yatra' on Thursday, emphasizing it as a religious journey dedicated to public service. Pawar compared people to God and himself as their servant.
The NCP president kicked off the yatra from Dindori ahead of the October assembly polls, stressing his dedication to improving people's lives. He listed his contributions, from the Solapur irrigation scheme to the Pune Metro, and highlighted the 2024-25 budget's welfare schemes, particularly for women.
Pawar addressed issues like the ban on onion exports, promising a dam in Kikvi for Nashik. The 'Jan Sanman Yatra' will cover 11 assembly constituencies in four districts over five days, aiming to raise awareness about the benefits of governmental schemes.
