BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde on Tuesday criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his speech in the Lok Sabha, stating that the Leader of Opposition's act of dragging National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval's name into politics was unfortunate.

Addressing a press conference in Gujarat's Surat, Tawde mentioned that Gandhi, instead of presenting facts and figures for the budget debate, brought a photograph of officers who prepared the budget. He accused the Congress leader of mocking the middle class.

Tawde further stated that Rahul Gandhi's speech resembled a political street address rather than a parliamentary debate. He claimed the Congress has no respect for armed forces and failed to attract middle-class support, thus resorting to mockery.
