Congress' deputy leader in the Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, raised alarms on Saturday regarding the 'deteriorating standards of parliamentary conduct' in a letter to Speaker Om Birla.
Gogoi accused Union Ministers Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Ravneet Singh Bittu of using threatening and unparliamentary language against former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi, respectively.
Seeking the Speaker's intervention, Gogoi urged prompt action against those responsible to maintain the decorum and smooth functioning of the House.
