Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with former PM H D Deve Gowda on Thursday, extolling the JD(S) leader's deep wisdom and perspective on a range of subjects.
Deve Gowda attended the meeting along with his son H D Kumaraswamy, the Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries. Modi took to X to share his thoughts, saying, 'It was an honour to meet former Prime Minister, Shri HD Devegowda Ji at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. His wisdom and perspective on various subjects are deeply valued.'
Modi also expressed gratitude for an artwork presented by Deve Gowda, which reminded him of his recent visit to Kanyakumari. He posted pictures from the meeting on social media.
Following Modi's post, H D Kumaraswamy responded by thanking the Prime Minister for his encouragement and support. The JD(S), which secured two seats in the last Lok Sabha elections, is an integral part of the NDA government.
