Ukraine-Ready for Peace Talks: Key Conditions and Diplomatic Moves
Dmytro Kuleba

Ukraine's top diplomat, Dmytro Kuleba, declared on Wednesday that Ukraine is open to negotiations with Russia, provided its sovereignty and territorial integrity are fully respected. This statement followed intensive discussions in China aimed at addressing the ongoing conflict.

Kuleba, in an evening video address, reiterated Ukraine's stance that no agreement could be reached without its involvement and expressed skepticism about Russia's willingness to negotiate sincerely. His talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi lasted over three hours and underscored Ukraine's readiness to engage only when Russia shows genuine intent.

China, while positioning itself as neutral, has maintained supportive ties with Russia, complicating potential peace efforts. Despite ongoing diplomatic challenges, Ukraine continues to seek long-term peace solutions and broader international support.
