Rahul Gandhi and INDIA Bloc Push for Legal Guarantee of MSP for Farmers

This commitment was made following a meeting with a delegation of farmer leaders from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

The farmers' delegation highlighted various issues and expressed the urgent need for a legal MSP guarantee. Gandhi reaffirmed that this guarantee was a part of their manifesto and feasible. He mentioned that discussions within the INDIA bloc would continue to ensure that MSP becomes a legal right for farmers.

Congress general secretary KC Venugopal emphasized the importance of this guarantee for the crores of Indian farmers who feel neglected by the government. He stated on X that the INDIA bloc is determined to secure justice for the farmers and support them in their demands.
