BJP Maintains Strong Voter Base Despite Lok Sabha Seat Losses

Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule stated on Sunday that the party continues to hold a strong base among the electorate despite losing seats in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking at the party's state convention in Pune, attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior leaders, Bawankule emphasized, 'The BJP lost some seats, but our voter base remains strong. There is no need to worry. Our vote count has consistently increased over time.'
'In the 2024 general elections, we received 1,49,13,914 votes, clearly indicating unwavering support. However, we only secured nine seats in Maharashtra,' he added, attributing the losses to a fake narrative propagated by the opposition.
