Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Friday signaled a stringent policy stance against China if elected after the November general elections.

Seeking his second term, Trump, 78, emphasized China a record 14 times in his extended hour-and-a-half speech, delivered at the four-day Republican National Convention. Russia was referenced nine times, followed by Iran eight times.

Trump highlighted that his foreign policy would be stricter than it was during his first term (2017-2020). "The world expects its hostages back before I assume office or they will face severe repercussions," he stated. "With our victory in November, the era of war, weakness, and chaos will end."

He also pointed out the strategic movements by China around Taiwan and Russia's naval operations near Cuba's coast.

Positioning America on the brink of a golden age, Trump promised unparalleled energy production essential for advancing AI technologies, citing the necessity for doubling the current electricity output.

Criticizing the Biden administration for relinquishing the Bagram airbase to China, Trump underscored the base's proximity to Chinese nuclear facilities.

During his first term, Trump claimed the US economy outpaced China's unprecedentedly and pledged to end illegal immigration by completing the border wall.

He recalled his firm stance on trade, threatening tariffs on countries trading with Iran and reasserted his claim to have managed the media-dubbed "China Virus."

Assuring his base, he promised to end all wars currently instigated under the present administration, including conflicts involving Russia, Ukraine, and Israel.

He accused Iran of financially recovering over the past administration and pledged relentless trade policies to deter further economic alliances with Iran.

Citing historical invasions under previous administrations, Trump emphasized Russia's inaction during his presidency and credited his administration for defeating ISIS in Syria and Iraq efficiently.
