Sunita Kejriwal to Launch Arvind Kejriwal's Campaign Guarantees in Panchkula

AAP Haryana president Sushil Gupta announced that Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, will launch his campaign guarantees in Panchkula. AAP Haryana unit president Sushil Gupta announced on Friday that Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will visit Panchkula on Saturday to launch Arvind Kejriwal's campaign guarantees. The town hall event will take place at 1 pm in Panchkula's Indradhanush Auditorium, featuring prominent figures such as Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak. All AAP leaders in Haryana are expected to attend.

In his statement, Gupta sharply criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of deceiving the public for the past decade. He emphasized that ahead of the assembly polls, the people of Haryana desire the governance model of Arvind Kejriwal, which includes 24-hour electricity and water supply as provided in Delhi.

Discussing preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, Gupta told ANI that the Aam Aadmi Party is gearing up for all 90 assembly seats with extensive preparations at each booth. He remarked that the people of Haryana are seeking 24-hour utilities, employment, and a reduction in drug abuse and crime, urging the need for change.

During a press conference on Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party declared its intention to contest the upcoming Haryana assembly elections independently. Previously, AAP had contested one seat in Haryana in alliance with Congress during the Lok Sabha elections. Haryana is one of eight states scheduled for legislative assembly elections this year.

Currently, the state is governed by a coalition of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP). The Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 are anticipated to occur on or before October 2024, with the current Assembly's term ending on November 3. The official election schedule has yet to be announced.
