North Korea has issued a stern warning to South Korea over the distribution of anti-Pyongyang leaflets, asserting that it could lead to 'devastating consequences,' according to state media KCNA.

Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and a senior party figure, highlighted that large balloons carrying these leaflets were discovered in North Korea, causing inconvenience to its residents.

'The situation seemed to be becoming unacceptable. Again I give you a stern warning,' she declared in a statement released by KCNA.
