Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav asserted on Sunday that the BJP's poor showing in the 13 assembly bypolls across seven states signals imminent losses for the party in future elections.

''People are realising the rule of lies of the BJP,'' said Yadav, following by-elections in West Bengal, Himachal, Uttrakhand, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh.

The INDIA bloc claimed victory in 10 out of the 13 contested seats, while the BJP secured only two, with one seat going to an Independent candidate. ''This is a signal that BJP is going to lose the upcoming election in Haryana, Maharashtra and other states,'' Yadav stressed.

He further alleged that without dishonest means, such as misuse of administrative power, the BJP would struggle to win in any state.
