The Patna High Court on Friday ruled against the cancellation of Bihar Public Service Commission exams, dismissing petitions citing a lack of conclusive evidence of malpractice in the December tests.
The division bench, presided over by Acting Chief Justice Ashutosh Kumar, instructed the commission to proceed with the main exams, assuring these were peaceful and transparent.
Protests erupted over alleged test paper leaks and unfair conditions, with involvement from political figures. The court, however, highlighted necessary security and structural changes for future exams.
