In a commendable act of bravery, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Shashank Jaiswal saved a man's life by administering CPR after a road accident on the Delhi Cantonment flyover. The official report states that Jaiswal was returning home from the Prem Bari Bridge on Wednesday night when he encountered the incident.
The injured man, identified as 45-year-old Nitin Tyagi from Punjabi Bagh, was found unconscious by the roadside following a motorbike accident. Jaiswal, noticing Tyagi's critical state, immediately stopped to provide assistance, ensuring his vital signs were restored.
This is not the first time Jaiswal has exhibited such decisive action. In 2024, he was involved in a high-profile rescue of an army couple trapped in their overturned car in Delhi's Dhaula Kuan area, showcasing his consistent dedication to public service.
