Major Drug Bust: Police Nab Smuggler with Rs 50 Lakh Worth of Ganja

The local police, in collaboration with the Anti Narcotics Task Force from Prayagraj, arrested a smuggler named Prabhat Singh. They seized 100 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 50 lakh, concealed in his vehicle. Singh confessed to transporting ganja from Odisha and Bihar to local districts.

In a significant drug bust, local police in conjunction with the Anti Narcotics Task Force in Prayagraj successfully arrested a smuggler. Rs 50 lakh worth of cannabis was confiscated.

Identified as Prabhat Singh, originating from Kachhwa, he was captured with 100 kg of ganja hidden within his car.

Authorities disclosed that Singh obtained ganja from Odisha and Bihar, distributing it to areas in nearby districts, leading to his arrest and subsequent incarceration.
