Two individuals have been detained in connection with the alleged assault on an Army officer during an NCC cadet camp at KMM College in Thrikkakara, according to police reports.
Identified as Nishad and Navas, the accused were apprehended following identification by NCC officials after the attack on Lieutenant Colonel Karneyil Singh, Administrative Officer of the 21 Kerala NCC Battalion.
The incident, which occurred amid reports of food poisoning affecting over 60 cadets, prompted police to register a case involving several charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, reflecting the serious nature of the alleged offenses.
