Former Mysuru Urban Development Authority chairman K Marigowda appeared before the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday to answer questions related to the MUDA site allotment scam.
Marigowda, who recorded his statement at the agency's office in Shantinagar, had resigned from his position last month citing personal reasons. The central agency's investigation has already led to questioning of Raichur Congress MP G Kumar Naik and Siddaramaiah’s personal assistant C T Kumar.
Amidst these developments, the Lokayukta police have filed a case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and others concerning 14 questionable site allocations in Mysuru. Complaints by activist Snehamayi Krishna triggered an ED investigation, leading to raids across Mysuru.
