Addressing the 'Punjab Vision: 2047' conclave at Panjab University, Cheema highlighted the significant revenue losses Punjab faces under the current GST regime. He stressed the urgency for the central government to devise inclusive solutions.
The finance minister also lauded ambitious state policies and initiatives aimed at driving progress through industrial development, biofuels, and tourism, envisioning Punjab as a leader in economic diversification and sustainable agriculture by 2047.
