Gangster's Network Crumbles: Key Arrests in Extortion Scandal

In a significant breakthrough, the Gurugram Police have apprehended two accomplices related to the extortion activities orchestrated by the wife of jailed gangster Kaushal Chaudhary. This move comes just a day after Chaudhary's wife, Manisha, was arrested for her alleged involvement in attempting to extort Rs 2 crores from a hotel owner.
The suspects have been identified as Manisha's father, Suresh, her friend Meenakshi, and Vedvati - the wife of a known henchman within Chaudhary's criminal gang. A senior police officer emphasized the ongoing interrogation of these individuals, seeking to unravel further details regarding the extortion cases.
ACP (Crime) Varun Dahiya highlighted that the arrested individuals were integral parts of the gang and were regularly in contact with Manisha. They provided her shelter and were fully aware of her illicit activities, underscoring the extensive network behind the crime.
