A businessman from Kushinagar district has come forward with alarming allegations of multiple death threats linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Deepak Rauniyar, who owns a clothing store in the bustling market area of Fazilnagar, claims he was threatened twice in a single week, a stark reminder of the precariousness surrounding those targeted by criminal factions.
On Tuesday, Rauniyar recounted to reporters the chilling conversations he had with his caller, who allegedly described himself as an affiliate of the Bishnoi gang and warned that police protection would be futile. Based on Rauniyar's complaint, police action ensued with an FIR being filed and active efforts underway to trace the caller's locations, adding another layer to ongoing investigations involving significant figures associated with the Bishnoi name.
