A daring theft of over ₹10 lakh has rocked a rural bank in Jharkhand's Palamu district, confirmed by senior police officials on Monday.
The burglary took place at the Belwatika branch under Medininagar Town police station. Upon discovering broken locks and a shattered window, bank officials alerted police early on Monday.
As the investigation proceeds, one suspect is in custody, and police are diligently examining CCTV footage to track down the culprits, stated Sub-Divisional Police Officer Manibhusan Prasad.
