Teen’s Tragic Death Sparks Vigilante Action in Delhi
In northwest Delhi, four teenagers allegedly killed a fifteen-year-old boy accused of harassing a girl. The police apprehended the involved individuals, three of whom are minors. In a shocking turn of events in northwest Delhi's Subhash Place, four teenagers have allegedly killed a fifteen-year-old boy. The incident reportedly stemmed from claims of harassment against a girl, as confirmed by local police on Saturday.
The accused, including three minors, were motivated by a desire to retaliate against the boy, identified as Jitender, who allegedly harassed their friend's sister daily. The confrontation turned violent on Friday, resulting in a fatal head injury for one of the victims.
Private investigations began after the case was registered as murder, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest) Abhishek Dhania. Efforts included scrutinizing CCTV footage and gathering intelligence before apprehending the suspects in Shakurpur. Further probe is underway to determine their involvement in other cases, authorities said.
