Faith and Fatality: A Troubled Marriage in Maharashtra

A 30-year-old man in Maharashtra's Palghar district was arrested for allegedly killing his wife over suspicions of infidelity. Swapnil Tawre, from Virar, is accused of slitting and strangling Roshni, leaving their five-year-old child without a mother. This was Roshni’s second marriage.

In a disturbing incident from Maharashtra's Palghar district, police have apprehended a 30-year-old man, identified as Swapnil Tawre, for allegedly murdering his wife over suspicions of her infidelity, officials reported on Thursday.

Sources reveal that Swapnil, a resident of Virar's Naringi locality, gruesomely ended the life of his wife, Roshni, by slitting her throat and thereafter strangling her. This violent act has orphaned their five-year-old child.

According to Roshni's father, who filed the complaint, this tragedy unfolded in Roshni's second marriage after a mutual separation from her first. Accusations of infidelity, allegedly harbored by Swapnil, appear to have led to this fatal outcome.
