Kharkiv Governor Oleh Syniehubov detailed that the explosion caused a fire and devastated most of one entrance, while Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported 18 injuries. Images circulated online depict firefighters battling flames amid collapsed sections of the nine-story building.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy highlighted the attack's severity, stressing the urgent need for additional military support from Western allies. Kharkiv, which withstood initial Russian advances, continues to suffer from targeted airstrikes, as the conflict rages on.
