National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah reiterated the necessity of military encounters in response to ongoing terrorist infiltrations into the country.
Speaking to reporters, Abdullah confirmed the persistence of such operations as a response to repeated incursions, following a recent encounter in Akhnoor that resulted in the elimination of three terrorists.
Addressing the 'Darbar move,' a seasonal administrative shift, he confirmed its continuation. Additionally, Abdullah urged residents to embrace Diwali festivities, expressing hope for prosperity amid economic difficulties in Jammu and Kashmir.
