The Enforcement Directorate (ED) intensified its investigation into a convoluted money laundering case tied to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). Central to the probe is Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, alongside family members and other implicated parties.
Recent developments saw ED agents questioning former MUDA Commissioner D B Natesh in connection with the alleged wrongdoing. Simultaneously, raids were carried out across Bengaluru and Mysuru, targeting seven to eight locations, including premises linked to former commissioner G T Dinesh Kumar.
Controversy revolves around the peculiar land allocation to Parvathi B M, Siddaramaiah's wife. Critics argue plots were improperly assigned in lieu of undeveloped lands without proper ownership. As scrutiny mounts, Siddaramaiah has publicly refuted allegations, labeling them as politically motivated attacks aimed at damaging his reputation.
