Bihar Government's High-Profile Bureaucratic Reshuffle

In an important development, the Bihar government has announced a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, marked by the transfer of seven senior IAS officers, as per a notification from the General Administration Department.
Among the notable changes, Pratyaya Amrit, a 1991-batch IAS officer, has been appointed to succeed Development Commissioner Chaitanya Prasad. Prasad, part of the 1990-batch IAS cadre in Bihar, has taken on the role of chief investigation commissioner within the same department.
Additionally, Mihir Kumar Singh has been designated as the additional chief secretary of the Road Construction Department, moving from his prior leadership in the Panchayati Raj and Mines and Geology departments. Similarly, Narmadeshwar Lal and Divesh Sehara have received new postings in the Mines and Geology and Panchayati Raj departments, respectively.
