The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Uttar Pradesh is facing internal disputes as the Nishad Party insists on contesting two of the nine upcoming by-election seats. A crucial meeting occurred between BJP President JP Nadda and Nishad Party Chief Sanjay Nishad at the BJP headquarters late Tuesday night.
Sanjay Nishad, after his discussions with Nadda, highlighted the unresolved matters concerning the Nishad community and their quest for greater reservation. Nishad emphasized the importance of securing these seats to ensure a say in governance and stated his trust in the BJP to address these matters after Diwali. He remains hopeful for support from high-level BJP leaders post-Diwali.
The by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, scheduled across nine Assembly constituencies, have become a focal point for the NDA. Samajwadi Party's recent statements were dismissed by Nishad, who criticized their past governance. The upcoming votes will occur in multiple states, creating a complex political landscape as parties vie for dominance.
