The suspects, Salman Quaresia and Umesh Sakharam Khandagle from Maharashtra, were detained during a border check and are now under investigation by Nepalese authorities.

Two Indian nationals were apprehended on charges of illegal cash transportation in Nepal's Kapilvastu district. Authorities revealed that Salman Quaresia and Umesh Sakharam Khandagle were found with INR 20.5 lakh without necessary documentation.
Both men, hailing from Maharashtra's Raigad district, were caught during a routine security operation at the Nepal-India border in Krishnanagar. They were using separate vehicles bearing Indian license plates.
Nepalese law prohibits carrying over INR 25,000 in cash without proper documentation. The suspects have been transferred to the Kapilvastu district's Revenue Investigation Department, with seized funds undergoing further inquiry.
