In the aftermath of recent communal tensions in Mahrajganj, authorities have filed another First Information Report (FIR) implicating seven individuals, including an office bearer of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha's (BJYM) city unit. The charges stem from allegations submitted by BJP MLA Sureshwar Singh from Mahsi.

This marks the twelfth FIR in the ongoing case tied to the violent events that saw the tragic death of 22-year-old Ram Gopal Mishra. Mishra was shot during a dispute over loud music at a Durga idol immersion, triggering widespread unrest, including arson and vandalism.

The FIR detailed charges of rioting, attempted murder, and other offenses. According to sources, the accused includes political figures like Arpit Srivastava, whose leadership role within the BJYM adds a complex layer to the unfolding scenario. The situation remains tense as authorities continue their investigations.
