In a developing story from Jabalpur, Telangana BJP MLA T Raja has called upon Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to halt a marriage between a Muslim man and a Hindu woman. The event, perceived as a 'love jihad' case, has sparked significant controversy and social media buzz.
Rajaji's video message was sent to Yadav on Sunday, pushing for the cancellation of the couple's Special Marriages Act application. The Hindu Sewa Parishad, a right-wing organization, is actively campaigning against the union, claiming it as part of a broader alleged strategy to convert Hindu women.
Speaking to reporters, Hindu Sewa Parishad chief Atul Jeswani urged CM Yadav to ensure the woman's return to her family. Meanwhile, Jabalpur Collector Pushpendra Ahakey confirmed an inquiry into the demands, involving telecom firm employees Hasnain Ansari and Ankita Rathore.
