Himachal Pradesh has taken a significant step in bolstering its cybercrime defense with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurating a 'CY-Station' in Shimla. This specialized unit of the state police aims to handle complaints related to financial fraud in real-time, ensuring swift action.
Operating round-the-clock, the CY-Station will enable blocking or lien marking of fraudulent transactions via the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System. Complaints can be registered through a toll-free number, enhancing accessibility and response efficiency.
The state government is committed to modernizing its police force by integrating advanced technologies, improving transparency, and building robust community relations for a safer Himachal Pradesh.
